Introduction

Architecture in AlphaBernd's realm has evolved over time. With each nation having varying styles and even different people practicing different versions of their schools of architectural thought. Here is a list of some of the architectural styles on the server as well as short descriptions.

The Old Kurwan style was first conceived on the 1.7 map in the city-state of Kurwa. The first rulers of Kurwa wanted everything in their town to be quite ordnung. And so they decreed that no cobble cubes and the like were allowed. Thus most of the houses in Kurwa were made from stone slabs and wooden planks. Generally people who use this style would use stone slabs as a frame and for accents and cover the rest of the wall and perhaps interior with wooden planks and then add a few large windows with glass. Many would choose to use pure wood to give their structures a bit of an edge. Smooth stone blocks were also common additions.
