The Merchant Guild aims to dominate local markets while remaining competative in offshore ones

In the beginning there was Ghoul, a young profiteering go getter straight out of the 80's Gekko style you dig? His mission (Deus Vult!) was to corner the wool market with the finest materials which instantly became a smashing success allowing him to feast on cake every night while fighting the mob. But his burning heart was not cooled by mere triffles so he began recruiting the finest minds in all of lands while developing cobble mining interests at his bunker compound.

His marketing campaign the “Merchant Guild never loses” was met with roaring success inflating his number by 600% (citation needed) , a short while after the first MG megaproject® the South West Viaduct was completed linking the undeveloped and impoverished South Eastern swamps to Alphatown with a series of trade canals.

Berndrock was a failed joint venture between the Tri-Isles & MG. The idea had been to provide safe and cheap affordable housing in virgin territory for the increasingly overpopulated nation state north, after 30.000 StB's were removed the site became increasingly infested with creepers turning much of the assigned worktime into a battle with some houses being rebuilt several times over the course of the workday. Berndrock and the Feel Ravine (a protected MG Natural wonder®) can be accessed via the arena rail from Alphatown. The Tri-isles/MG joint venture was then dissolved following delays in the contruction of Vault 10.

In the third quarter of 2011 the MG board accepted in a unanimous vote to aquire land for future projects and the western half of the defunkt settlement Deseret was aquired using jew magic which caused Deseret to be dead in process, there's the One World Plaza is under construction to be opened soon.
