History and Future

Al-Autismiya is currently under construction and will be for some time. Groundbreaking was on the 1st of February 2012. Or something like that. It is under management of FordTempo and TSquareMan.

It is an ambitious project. It consists of a center pit of 51×51 blocks straight to bedrock. At sea-level the pit will be surrounded by a double high series of grand arches.

When the pit is completed the plan is that Al-Autismiya will be a “vertical city.” Streets, buildings, and anything else built in this city will only be built within the 51×51 pit. The lone exception may be a rail line leading from top to bottom.

Government

While operating more or less autonomously, Al-Autismiya is part of Irmunsul

Currently, there are only 2 citizens of Al-Autismiya. Its founders. How lovely.

Buildings in the city will be restricted to citizens of Irmunsul only (with the exception of guild halls and embassies).
