Once a good seed for a map is found, there will be a grand search party for the site of Nova Kurwa. The man who finds the best plot will be awarded with a diamond block (immediately or eventually, depending on the circumstances of the change). While it would be much, much cooler to do it all together, because of the bukkit update we should all look individually for a good spot. NOPE, alpha said he's doing a random seed so it'll take a while to find our new motherland, go out in small scout parties.

• Near a water feature, ideally a river and ideally on a peninsula [Importance: Very High]
• Large, flat area for expansion [Importance: Very High]
• Interesting surrounding landscape (mountains, etc.), possible future natural borders like Kurwa Province has (leave enough lebensraum) [Importance: High]
• Built on the ashes and of the skulls of an NPC village [Importance: High]
• Close (but not next to) a ruin or river or ravine to set the stage for dramatic battles with Novobattkhortsk [Importance: Moderate]

The first building will be, depending on the circumstances, either an outpost/mine or a grand city hall. A government district will be built above the city while a residential district is started close-by.

A large mine and ample farmlands will be constructed nearby for public use.

The Grand Empire of Kurwa will finance the expedition and foundation of the colony. Vlad has stocked up five six double chests of materials for the expedition. In the event we won't be able to ferry these chests across the border, we'll resort to each holding as much as we can carry and hoping our Player Data is brought over. Failing that, we'll find a suitable spot to begin a mine in Nova Kurwa and fortify that position until we're able to erect a wall and light up the area.

When the server launches we'll all know where to go and will meet up there according to the above circumstances. All expeditionaries will be furnished with diamond armor, a diamond sword, one stack of arrows, a bow, and 7 bowls of mushroom soup we'll all look around for a good spot together or in small scouting parties. As the Seed wont be shown until the server is launched, the bast way would be to split into the groups of 2. As Alpha said earlier today, no inventories will cross, therefore we are left without anything. Once the location is found we should establish a mine there while taking wood by the way we are roaming the lands. (Suggestion by Baraba)
