Competitions and Games

this page is made to help create more player involvement in competitions, games, events, and other things relating to large groups of people of different nations gathering in a non-hostel meaner for fun and sport.

Games are large competitions that have 3 or more events held in a large arena. a title holder is usually made at end(best competitor/most wins).

Have one or two events and are in a relatively small arena.

Events are on their own, with no other events with them. List new ideas for events here:

1. Fighting: Can be un-armed or armed one-on-one combat.
2. Pig Racing: Race them pigs around a course.
3. Battle Royal: A large fight of teams (2 or more teams)
4. Parkour Race: A target platform is made and contestants race on it.
5. Parkour Challenge: A target platform is made and contenders take turns trying to get to the spot.(Target is harder than race)
6. Archery: Shoot bows at targets, score on accuracy and distance.
7. Hide-and-Seek: A player with the prize tries not to be found and killed by seekers. Once you find the hider and kill them, you become the hider. If the current person hiding is not killed by the time limit (one hour recommended) then they keep the prize. No log outs as hider.
8. Kill the Beast(mod preferred sponsor): The sponsor throws down a spawn egg, and you have to kill the creature spawned without equipment.

also the games will take between a 1/2 hour to 2 hours depending on number of competitors to complete next to name list times you are free on date of games(8th).

general rules

1. do not pvp unless competing in a pvp event
2. do not interfere with other competitors events
3. the Champion is the one with the most points at the end of all 3 events and wins 1/2 of dimonds collected, and reward items
4. do not destroy beds unless part of event
5. diamond for entrance is due on day of competition and needs to be put in the victory chest(reward items will be placed in there also)

Archery event

• you will be using an uninchanted bow to hit targets you will have 5 shots
• event is best score out of all (ties are done settled with an extra shot)
• first gets 6 points for grand total, 2nd gets 4 points, 3rd gets 2 points and 4th gets 1 point
• scoring is one point for a short target hit, 2 points for a long target, 5 for stand vilager
• MOG will provide bow and arrows
• must stand behind redstone line for shots to count

Armed Fight

• this is a pvp event one on one
• a fight is over when one competitor leavs the ring, dies or surenders
• iron weapons and armor only non-enchanted
• you can have ONE set provided for you
• bows are allowed
• other items are not allowed
• a fight line up will be made once all competitors are signed up
• first place will get 6 points, 2nd gets 4 points, 3rd/4th get 2 points

Battle Royal

• this is a team pvp event
• teams will be assigned
• battles will be fought until one team is dead or surrenders to other team
• non-enchanted iron items for all but one person per team, the one player can have gold enchanted items
• non-enchanted bows are allowed
• beds will be breakable in this event but all current fighters' beds will have to be in the ring
• if you are not on the field you are counted as dead
• placing blocks is not allowed
• potions, snowballs, eggs, and food allowed
• first place team will get 5 points, 2nd gets 3 points, 3rd/4th gets 1 points

• arena: location something is held at (dose not have to be in a building).
• sponsor: someone who is hosting and funding the event(s).
• location: where the stuff is.
• title holder: a person who has a title as champion of a game (ex: Champion of Mari)
• master of games: this person is the one who organised and runs the event(s). can also be the sponsor.
