A //physically defined border// is defined as a Border which confirms to the following requirements: (A) - LAND BORDERS: - Being Demarcated by non-natural blocks that are placed above ground, and topped with torches (hereforth referred to as 'markers'), and in intervals not to exceed 20 blocks in length; and - Having signs, illuminated, placed at least 3 blocks inside the nation; facing towards the border; and in intervals parallel to the border not exceeding 100 blocks; and - Having a Sign; Flag; and/or Banner, illuminated, placed at each and every crossing of the border; and - Having A cleared bufferzone including, and extending 3 blocks from the border, with no structures or trees within; exempting the markers. (B) - MARITIME BORDERS: If a secton of the border runs across a body of water in the following manners - The border continues the opposite side; or - The border does not cross to the opposite, the requirements then will be the following; or - The Border follows the path of a river. If the border fits the definition of (B)(1) the following requirement must be met: * there shall be a marker placed on each side of the water body, on the border, no more than 6 blocks and no less than 3 blocks inland from the waterline, and a accompaying sign placed presuant to (A)(2), unless The border fits the definition of (B)(2), the following requirements must be met: * there shall be a marker placed where the border enters and exits water body, no more than 6 blocks and no less than 3 blocks inland from the waterline, and a accompaying sign placed presuant to (A)(2); and * Placing signs, illuminated, no more than 10 blocks and no less than 3 blocks away from the shoreline, facing towards the water; and parallel to the coastline in intervals not exceeding 40 blocks; unless If the border fits the definition of (B)(3), the following requirements must be met: * Makers placed on dry land, along the inner bank of the river, within 3 blocks and parallel to the waterline, and in intervals not to exceed 20 blocks in length; and * Having signs, illuminated, placed at least 3 blocks inland the waterline; facing towards the water; and in intervals parallel to the border not exceeding 100 blocks; and * Having a Sign; Flag; and/or Banner, illuminated, placed at each and every crossing of the river. (C) - ISLAND BORDERS: If the territory in question does not have land borders, it has the following requirements: - Placing signs, illuminated, no more than 6 blocks and no less than 3 blocks inland from the shoreline, facing towards the sea; and parallel to the coastline in intervals not exceeding 40 blocks. - Placing a Sign, and/or Flag, and/or Banner; illuminated; at each and every port, bridge, or tunnel exit on the island(s). In case there's any confusion, there's __no requirement__ to place markers //__on__ or __in__// any waterbodies All signs refered in the above must announce what nation the territory within the border belongs to. ---- A //Seat of Government// is defined as a building which has the following: - 2 stories, AND/OR 2 wings; - A lobby; - an assembly room; - an office for head of state; - a libary; - A flag pole with national flag adorning the roof; UNLESS, - The building is below ground, in which case a vertical banner hung in the lobby or assembly room.
